The Association (ACLDBCLS) was founded in 1986 and represents the majority of Clinical Laboratories, the Biomedical and Clinical Laboratory Scientists that live and work in the island of Cyprus. It is the only one officially recognized by the Government for the practice of Clinical Chemistry and Laboratory Medicine in Cyprus.
