1. Charalambos Moeses Pottery
Potters since 1942 in Kerynia. After Turkish occupation in summer of 1974, refugees in our own country, we moved in Limassol and we start from the beginning. In short time we become the largest Potters in the Island with more than one hundred customers.

My work is inspired by everything that surrounds us. Nature is full of beautiful shapes, colours and textures. By looking at nature I develop ideas which I then try to create in clay. I mainly use stoneware clay and fire at high temperatures. For colour I prefer using oxides in order to achieve different shades and density.

Savvas pottery is one of the oldest and most renowned potteries on the island of Cyprus.
It is the only pottery on the island that develops its own colours and glazes.
For kitchenware, we only use lead-free glazes. Currently, Savvas Pottery has an annual output of 120 tons.
